From old tasting notes. Hazy, dark copper color. Big rocky beige head. Interesting, smoky, yeasty malt nose. Tangy, smoked malt flavor hints at lemon peel and smoked meat. There is an underlying wheatiness to this brew. Overall, a very unique wheat beer.

Golden to light amber color, hazy. Typical spicy aroma, light. Original taste, very good mix of a quite aggressive German wheat beer with a nice smokey taste (delicate), contuinueing in the final.

Nut brown, hazy, crystlized sugar-aroma, slightly smokey. Weird but tasty.

This was the last of a vast number of beers i tried, so my tastebuds could have been off, but it had a flavor of burned leaves that did not go too well with the light body - i prefer the Steinbier.

The lively body seems to carry the smoke flavours well. I prefer this to the Steinbier, and I like the steinbier a lot.
