Bottle. 3.5%. BBD of August 1990. Not sure who provided this one, but it was opened at St Mars of the Desert during a meet Ron Pattinson shindig. Clear, deep brown. No head. Remarkably viscous in the glass. Nose has raisin and date. Fig. Some fudgy chocolate. No off notes at all. Taste is sweet and a little vinous. Light body. Still a hint of carbonation. Silky on the palate. Sweet and vinous finish. Remarkably good condition and really tasty, too.

Sampled bottled at Ape & Apple, Manchester.
Dark ruby with rich head. Fruity and raisiny, yet dry and surprisingly malty. Dry finish with low bitterness.
