The aroma is sweet with strong notes of brewmash. The color is amber and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of brewmash - a boring flavor. All in all it is like most Sam Adams beers - main stream...

Bottled. Sweet and clean with hard crystal malt profile. Empty mouthfeel and low bitterness.

Chocolatey brown. Nice grainy/hops aroma that betrays the malt taste. One of my favorites. Even and flat with a syrupy malt backbone and nice crisp hops lingering around the back. Definitely finishes smooth, true to its attempt. Even some complexity in the malt flavor, some chocolate graham cracker appeal (more graham cracker less chocolate). I was just happy that the carbonation wasnt overbearing in the bottle. could use some more body.

Great dark amber in colour, great hoppy-malty smell. Good flavour with some sweetness, but an overall great beer. Too bad its so hard to find this one!

Blood red & amber colored, with a large foamy off-white head. Light caramel aroma. Clean caramel flavor, generally light malt profile. Smooth and drinkable at best, underdone at worst.
