On tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear, golden body with a very nice, big, creamy, dense and lasting off-white head. Quite mild aroma, biscuit malt and floral hoppy. Flavor is mild, soft malty, feels a bit dry, light fruity and mild bitterness. A bit thin body. I guess it’s a relatively true style British bitter, but feels a bit plain. A thirst-quencher.

(Draught at the brewpub on 2009-02-14) Pale amber and hazy. Beautiful layered bit tan coloured head. Fruity aroma with some malty notes. Full bodied and bit dry palate with medium carbonation. Malts, toffee, bitterness, fruitines, hint of pine and some sweetness in taste. Sweet and bitter aftertaste.

100ml on tap at the brewpub. Served at a sample tray with seven different brews. This one has got a hazy, amber body with a thin, creamy white foam blanketing the glass. Moderate floral aroma. Rounded hop bitterness in the taste offset by a discreet touch of malts. Dry ending (Trondheim, 12.12.2007).

Clear amber. Salty and roasty. Dry with rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish with some bitterness.
