Small offwhite coarseish head doesn’t last. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Light perfumy jasmine aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet mealy jasmine taste with floral notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish floral perfumy jasmine aftertaste. OK, so this beer is the same all the way through. Fairly nice, certainly drinkable, and perhaps even slightly subtle. (0.64l bottle, Wellcome, Lohas Park, Hong Kong.)

Aside from the boring appearance, this has a really strong smell of alcohol and rice, and not in a good way. Flavour is bread mixed with rice adjuncts. What else is there to say? Another pale lager by a different name.

Pallid gold. Appley, sulphury aroma. Delicate spice and maybe some pineapple on the palate. Watery finish. Mild malt.

Green Can:
Super pale golden coloured body with no head at all on top of this one. Aroma of stale malt, a very light amount of hops and an odd presence of rice. Light-bodied; Not a good taste at all, and showing more of the blandness than anything else. Aftertaste has more of the same, the palate is still dry and bitter after a sip of this one. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from Taste (outside the Ngong Ping 360 cable car station) in Hong Kong, China, brought back to the United States on 30-July-2006.

Canned. Pale golden with very brief head. Metallic aroma. Some bready, ricey body, no bitterness. Drinkable, but not enjoyable.
