Bottled 600ml. -from big Carrefour in Sorocaba, Brazil. Clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, malt and whiff of alcohol in the nose. Sweet toasted malt, caramel and dried fruits with pretty strong alcohol presence. Also noticable alcohol in rather sweet finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle, 0.60l, shared with CanCrusher. Clear ruby brown color with medium creamy light brown head and good lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, dark fruits and mild yeast. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt and caramel, follows refreshing fruity with warming mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish and long aftertaste. Full body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Strong and excellent...

Bottle. Pours dark brown, with a creamy, finger thick mocha head. Aroma is sweet with fruits, almost on the brink of sweets but in a good way, as well as a good dose of roasted malts. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts and molasses, as well as an ever so slightly note of alcohol and a burned finish.

Got this at a bar in SP, don’t know the price, I neither have seen the label before tasting, just said as "cerveza escura". It poured red, slightly hazed, big offwhite head. Something roasted on the nose. Aroma was pretty straight with roasted malts and ale fermentation that left a fruity tone. But i didn’t expect this to be a massive 9.2%, i thought around 6-7%. Nicely bodied, dry and spicy finish.
Already got a couple of other Baden Baden, and this was good too. At least considering the offer in this country, where special beers are a niche.

Dark red. Lots of caramel aroma and flavor. All malt, lightly sweet, with considerable alcohol on the palate. Herbal finish. It could use some age, but a solid beer.

Dark amber color. Nice aroma of malt, caramel, some fine hop. Strong mouthfeel, malt, a lot of caramel, a bit burning alcohol; strong ending bitterness. Not really complex, but very good. Thanks Philippe (Bov) for sharing this one.

Bottled. Deep ruby with rich firm head. Fruity, flowery hop aroma. Sweet and richly malty with pleasant soft mouthfeel. Aromatic hops and plums are obvious. Salty, bitter finish. Wow...
