Cask@Hope & Anchor, Bristol. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild herbal and nectary notes. Flavour is quite similar in a nice balance. Refreshing, but a bit boring.

13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer. Little white head. Light semi dry palate. Good grapefruit - orange hops for it’s abv. Fruity bitter - not much else but tastes alright with consideration to it’s low strength.

(Cask @ Akkurat, Stockholm 3,8 %) Pale amber with a slight haze. The head is nothing but a thin lid. Fruity aroma. Medium-bodied with a fruity apricot-bitter flavour. I really wish I could get cask-conditioned ales where I live.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Bronze colour. Grapefruity hop aroma. Dry and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. The rich hoppiness creates a near shampoolike flavour. Feels fresh. Lingering bitter finish. A weird cross of styles with it’s very american style hop character and British style malt character.

Gravity cask at Red Lion, Snargate. Amber coloured, with typical Harviestoun hop nose, some lemon citrus fruit, then the reminiscent american dry hop finish. Not my favourite Harviestoun, but nice enough
