Clear golden coloured body with a very thin, half a centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, water, metal and very little else - maybe some rice. Super light-bodied; Strong metallic note with a little lemon noticeable and a very mild alcohol flavour - no hops at all, and a touch of sweetness, too. Aftertaste, super mild, but luckily not showing any offensive characteristics - fairly subdued. Overall, not a horrible beer, but not one with great flavour or depth - if you want a beer here, just stick with Angkor Stout and enjoy it exclusively. I sampled this 33 cL (yes, not a 320 mL can from the description) can purchased from Angkor Market in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 05-April-2012 for 2000Rial (US$0.50) sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the planet on 15-November-2013.

33cl (4.5%) from a supermarked in Siem Reap. Light golden with a small white head that quickly disappears. Uery light and sweet malty aroma just a faint hint of hops. Sweet and pretty tasteless, but goes down easy in the heat. A hardly noticable hint of bitterness in the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bayon Pilsner on 03 May 2012 at 15:04 - Score: 3

Canned. Very pale yellow, no head. Papery aroma with lots of boiled vegetables. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel, obviously with lots of adjuncts. Not very good, but at least fairly drinkable.

A yellow beer with no head. Both the aroma and flavor is sour with notes of straw - I suspect rice. Another country tried, thanks to Per.

Can
Pale blond color. Paperlike useless aroma. Useless flavor, just more bitter than the average.

Hazy yellow colour. Fairly neutral aroma - hint of grain. Slightly wet palate. Grainy taste but little flavour overall. Ridiculously quick finish.
