Looks poor, with no head and little carbonation. Dull gold. Plasticy aroma with pear notes. The body is a bit thick, taste is pear, plastic and I’m not sure what else. One of the crappier Obolons.

Bottled 500ml. -from some gas station in Ukraine. Pale golden coloured, small white head that went away fast, grainy nose. Mild malty, grainy and cereals with quite watery finish. Also quite weak overall.

Pours an average yellow with almost no head, aroma is barely there - a soft maltiness and not much else. Flavour is syrupy with a weird dry finish, a bit sweet, not disgusting, not good either.

500ml bottle, 4.8% abv, bought in Yalta. Straw coloured body. Almost totally collapsing white head. A bit strange smell in the direction of watered liquorice. Sweet taste of diluted lemonade with notes of grain. Thin and foamy in the mouth (Odessa, 15.07.2009).

Bottle, 5%. First impression is that it is old and lightstruck. Tastes oxidized and bready. Clear golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour gets more tolerable after a while, but does not really get good.

The beer had no head and could have easily been mistaken for apple juice by an inexperienced observer. However, the taste was a little bit better than the appearance. Had a nice sweet tinge to it, but really not too much taste apart from this. My father said that they were just trying to copy the Germans... maybe I don’t know. Overall, it is a drinkable, but even and pretty mediocre beer.

Bottled. Pale golden. Grainy nose with some herbal spices. Fruity and raw, no bitterness. Cheaply made adjunct lager.
