Making rye while the sun shines - as the proverb sort of goes - is about acting fast, seizing the moment, grasping the opportunity. Marmalade makers know only too well the notoriously short life of the seville orange and capturing that zesty, sweet, perfumed moment is all about timing. Providing the shade to the orange sunlight is the bready spice of rye and golden promise which perfectly balances the sweetness of the orange juice and zest. A final hit of orange zest then creates that glorious afterglow.

2021 rating: Can. More maltiness than 2018. Somewhat chewy. Still great. 2018 rating: On tap. Pours a dark amber with light head. Aromas of tangerine, pineapple, and bready malts. Flavors of orange peel, pine, sharp rye and toast. Very nice
