75 cL bottle, as Bøgedal 99. Pours slight cloudy deep orange with a tan head. Peppery elderberry aroma. Light herbal and spiced elderflower. Dry malt base with light sting nettle like elderflower note. Unique and interesting. Slowly unfolding complex flavours which works together in a nice smoothness and spice composition. Ends medium dry and herbal.

Bottle, 75cl corked, as Nr 99. (RBNAG 07) A clear, well almost, brown beer with a minimal beige head. Spiced, peppery, hoppy and malty aroma with a sugary little touch and a roastyness. A quite hoppy one. Quite hoppy flavor too, fruity, sweetish and a bit spiced, finishing hoppy and peppery with a little piney hint. Full to medium body. A really pleasant little beauty, this one. (Bottle 75 cl) Nr. 32 Very beautiful - yet slightly hazy - reddish amber with a small, off-hite head. Caramelish nose with a touch of elder. Full-bodied and sweetish with some caramel and earthy accents of elderflowers. So far I haven’t been all too thrilled about Bøgedal’s experiments with spices. 120206

(Bottle 75 cl) Unclear, dark amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Slightly herbal nose. Medium body that starts dry but has a caramel sweetness lingering underneath. Very herbal notes in the flavour dominated by elder (not so much elder flowers) leaving a typical fusty, earthy touch. No real bitterness. Very unusual indeed. Thanks to Ungstrup for sharing. 301205

Bottled. Cloudy ruby, medium head. Fruity rowanberry aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. The balm flavour grows towards the finish. Low bitterness. A pleasanr and discretely flavourful beer pretty much in a style of its own.
