30/12/2018. Draft at James Beer, Puerto Madryn. Pours copper brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruit, veg, toffee, molasses and light toasting. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Smell has a bit of a roasted barley but the taste only follows through a little bit. There is a little sourness, but not as much as somedarker beers around Bariloche. This one’s not bad, just average. Had a bottle from the store in Bariloche.

Bottled, thanks Fukito! Dark mahogany with firm off-white head. Aroma mostly of caramelized sugar. Fairly sweet with evident caramel flavour. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Thankfully the flavour of crystalized sugar does not carry over into sticky sweetness, so the beer reminds gentle and drinkable. Mildly herbal finish.

Hazy reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. Caramel aroma, with nice walnuts notes. Bery nice nutty malt in mouth, with roasted coffee notes, veering on a brown ale. Quite good. Medium bodied. On tap, May 2006.
