Bottle bought at Vinmonpolet, tasted at home. Pours dark amber to copper, cloudy. Aroma of clover, cinnamon, ginger, anis, caramel, dried fruits, plums. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel, distinct bitter finish. A real Christmas beer with an upfront herb and fruit aroma finishing as a brown ale.

Bottled, thanks Rune! Dark nut brown, small head. Aroma of canned peach with citric acid thrown into it. Yeasty and untidy. Sweetish, fruity and raw. Mellow and strange with non discernable hops. Not good.

Something obvious went wrong in the brewing process. Have to be re-rated sometime. Smell of rotten eggs. The flavour is not that bad, though rather flat and sourish. Alright in appearance: Dense, creamy head over a clear, brown body (Everyone at our testing party reacted to the aroma, 08.12.2006).
