We travel a distance from our normal ultra-hoppy IPAs for this Wayfarer Sour IPA. Sour takes the place of bitterness in this style, but we couldn’t resist bringing hops along for the ride. En route, it is dry hopped, bringing out the sweet tropical fruit aromas of Amarillo and Citra. The sour comes comes from eight strains of super 8 lactobacilli, finishing things off with a tart bite. Approachable and easy drinking, this Wayfarer won’t leave you in the dust.
Hops: Amarillo, Citra
Malt: pilsner malt, malted wheat

Bottle from Honest Brew. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma has fruit and slight lemon. Taste only slight tart to sour. Mediumbody.

Pours a hazy pale lemon yellow colour with a small fine white head that settled to a film. A light aroma, grassy and citrus notes. A tart citrus taste, grapefruit, and lime flavours with a light dry sourness in the finish.

Thank you! Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Hazy bright lemon golden, little head,... Nose is very vague cucumber, almost parsley but overall very basic acidic lemon,... More curious notes are absent in the taste, just a big very basic sour lemon, acidic, almost green weeds, big sour, lemon,... Body is basic plastic lemon,... Easy basic sour,... Liked it more than most Eight Degrees beers about which I wasn’t crazy in general.

Taste of tart lemon, citrus zest hops, nice lemon tart, fruity, very light malt background, good flavour

Draught at ATG. Pale cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma of tart citrus. Flavour is similar, goes down really well, could easily knock a few back.
