330ml bottle, from trade with desverger, thanks Reubs. Pours black. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, soft fruity coffee, vanilla bourbon oak stuff, red fruit, plum. Good body. Very restrained for the strange.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with JFK10000 and Max. Black, medium brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, bit harsh bitter finish. Not too sweet. Medium to full bodied.

Deep dark rich. Lots of vanilla with great bourbon aroma in the back. Great deep and rich, the vanilla round the picture fantastic. The Imperial Stout has lots of chocolate with hints of roast. Fantastic smooth roasted chocolate caramel dry aftertaste with a long vanilla whisky aftertaste.

On tap. Pours black with moderate creamy tan head. Aromas of burnt chocolate, vanilla beans, and roasted malts. Flavors of sharp dark chocolate, unsweetened vanilla, dry roasted malts and a hint of whiskey. Creamy and bitter. Nice

pitch black coloured, oily-syrupy liquid with a bit more than one inch dense, stable creamy (dark)brown head - beautiful beer! aroma of cocoa powder, coffee, soy sauce, roasted nuts and resiny hops; taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts, some vanilla, hints of anise and resiny-(tropical-)fruity hops - a bit like a mixture of an imperial stout and a black IPA; great ’beer’!

Bottle thanks to Ben! Pours inky black with a large tan head, creamy and slow to dissipate with lots of residual and nice lacing. Aroma is quite roasty, dark roasted malts, hints of smoke, vanilla, baking cocoa, molasses. Flavor is light sweet, quite bitter, roasty with nice vanilla accents, faint hints of bourbon present as well, but definitely an accent rather than a primary characteristic. Molasses and a touch of leather. Full body and silky smooth mouthfeel.

Tap. Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Near enough black. Thin, dense, mega sticky, pale tan head. Nose has charred, woody malts. Some treacle and boozy vine fruits. Hint of dark chocolate. Hint of vanilla. Taste is rich, boozy, woody sweet. Sticky and a bit chewy. Soft, oily mouthfeel. Slick and rich. Finish gets woody and charred bitter.
