Bottle at home in London - big thanks to Kenny. Pours deep black-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has a good big of milk chocolate, soft roast, some figs, toasted caramel. Medium sweet flavor with some sugary chocolate candy, baking cocoa, burnt earth, dark fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more milk chocolate, some creamy vanilla, mellow earthy bitterness. Good stuff.

Bottle courtesy of Reuben (Desverger) at the....cough!... London Drinker Beer Festival...now if they had this in their foreign ale section.. anyway, black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate and chocolate cake. Lots of sweet, tasty chocolate in the flavour. Incredibly velvety smooth mouthfeel. Lovely stuff!

Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - pours black with a mahoosive and persistent brown head. Aroma and taste showcases a great balance of sweet and bitter notes with powerful roasted malts, deep chocolate.. almost chocolate fondant like leading to a velvety mouthfeel, great full body, the perfect amount of vanilla throughout for me, some coffee, some caramel, some whisky nuances towards the end leading to a medium bitter roasted finish. Another bottle 26/12/2015 - tasting great still, going to keep the rest to age some.
