33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus, Culemborg. Murky brown with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with some raisins. Sweet taste with a sour note. Low-bitter finish. Unremarkable boring bock.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Weak, malty aroma, cautious hints of malt lozenge, a touch of oak, nutty overtones. Taste is dry, tart-ish, strawy, minimally grainy, malty, bitter grassy, a touch of burnt nuts, peppery yeasty overtones. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. A really strange concoction...

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet soft roasty caramelly flavor. Carbonation is soft. Hint of chichory and milk chocolate. Sweet and rather flat. Lacks some bite and character. Sticky.

Bottle @ home shared with Joes. Dark amber color, towards brown, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, some brown malts, a bit dusty, a bit "unpolished" and rough. Meh.

Bottle, BB 2018 07-08 (from het biermoment). Pours dark copper brown with beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, chocolate. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dry, nutty, fruity, caramel, malt, fruits, citrus, chocolate. Feels bit flawed/dirty, but not too bad. Overall: ok, I don’t mind drinking this despite the problems.

Modeste 2016. Pours caramelly brown, small white head. Smell is sweet, creamy, some chocolate. Taste is mildly bitter, sweet, some chocolate. Mild fermentation-error though, is what the plastic-like aftertaste gives away ( luckely less extreme than a beer I once brewed myself, that had this 10x harder )

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Moderste 2016. Deep brown, little tanned head. Nose is sweet awful leaves, ditch water, soap, chemical, unpleasant. Taste is dull soapy, chemical, rotting leaves, low sourness in the back. Body is thin, fizzy, poor & potentially flawed.

Dark brown with thick, creamy head. Flavour has lots of dark malt and hints of chocolate. Certainly not oversweet. One of the best Dutch bocks.

33cl bottle from Speciaalbier Leiden. Thin white head. Hazy amber pour. A decent enoug bock but nothing special
