This Bronze medal winner (2006, NABA) is "our flagship beer". A dark American brown ale that is malty and complex with a hoppy finish. This is a Brown with attitude! Brewed with Northern Brewer and Cascade hops.

On tap at the source. Brown with an off white, creamy head and sticky lacing. Aroma is walnut, almond, honey. Taste is bittersweet with hazelnut notes. The bitterness takes the upper hand going into the finish and on the whole the brew ends up quite a bit more bitter than a typical brown. Body is medium, carbonation average. Good.
