Handbottled (thanks KB! old backlog). Hazy goldeny orange colour with minor head. Aroma is fruits, mild wood as well as some raisins and resiny notes. Flavour is sweet ripe fruit, some caramelly and toffeeish malty notes along with some mild vanilla as well. Balanced, and quite mellow bitterness in the finish.

Draught (O’Connor’s, Uppsala) - Amber with a slight haze and a small head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with notes of grain and dried apricot. Crisp, tangy and slightly metallic taste with notes of peach, toffee and a noticeable, yet not overwhelming. bitterness in the finish. Not bad, it’s well-made and certainly more British than American in style. I would prefer it if the hops had a bit more bite, though.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange, toast and marmalade. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, biscuity malt, marmalade and a slightly earthy bitterness in the finish. Solid malt foundation, with just above medium body. A slight sweetness throughout. Very much an English style IPA (as expected from Skebo). Nice one.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Lightly hazy golden. Dry fruity nose. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Lots of hay and overripe fruits atop creamy malt. Very much an IPA in the English sense, no grapefruit or excessive bitterness, more a stronger, more hoppy golden bitter.
