Bottle. Pours a black color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty licorice hoppy aroma. Fruity malty caramel and licorice flavor with hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel and licorice finish.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct 2012) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, black coffee and grapefruit. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, cacao, caramel, toffee and a roasty, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Nice one.

Draught at SBWF. Hazy dark brown, small head. Rich aroma of grapefruit and licorice. Dry and roasty with firm body. Tropical fruit hops, grains and cardamom. Long bitter finish.

Draught@SBWF2012. More or less black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, ashes, toffee and some mild spices. Flavour is toffee, roasted malts, fruits, ashes, herbs and quite floral as well.

Sample at SBWF 2012. Brownish with a small head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, some hops, grape, dried fruit and dark bread. No frills but a descent beer.
