What started many years ago as a seasonal brew has become a FrogBeer cellar icon! By combining the pleasantly floral aroma of a mild Bobek hop with fresh root ginger, lemon and lime our brewers have created a truly unique beer, notable for its zingy aftertaste and drinkability! Crisp, clear golden amber in colour; fresh, fizzy and full of flavour; we are proud to say that there's no other beer that we've tasted (yet!) that's quite like our Ginger Twist.

4oz pour at the Toulouse location comes out a clear gold with some white head. Nose has big ginger, candy, some pepper. Flavor is all honey and candy with a spike of ginger. Zesty finish. Just ginger ale with alcohol.

Draught at the Frog & Princess, Paris Clear golden, small head. Aroma of lemon and ginger. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel and light-medium body. Fairly low bitterness. Somewhat refreshing, but no real winner.

On tap at The Frog & Princess, Paris.Golden coloured, medium sized white head, very lively carbonation, ginger in the nose. Lemony ginger taste with odd and unpleasant metallic notes in the finish. Pitty it was promising

Clear yellow color, small white head. Aroma of artifical lime and ginger. Light bodied. Sweet lime and ginger also in the flavor. Reminds me about thouse lime radlers. No go.

A yellow blonde ale with a thin creamy white head. Strong aroma of ginger puree and light lemon notes. In mouth, a watery ginger shandy, crisp malt, boring. On tap at Frog & Rosbif St-Denis , June 12 2010.

Yup, there’s ginger in there, in fact so much of a sugary "twist" that it comes off like one of those Desperados you see the, uh, desperate types drinking in Paris. Very pop-like, too sweet, no head, give it a pass.
