This pale ale is made with primarily English ingredients. The unique, Golden Promise malt variety from Fawcett’s maltings in Yorkshire and Cascade hops from Mark Andrews farm in Herefordshire. This combination gives a very light bodied yet distinctive malt flavor and a mellow flavor of citrus and pine from the hops which works very well with intensive flavored foods.

Now called Whitefield Amber. Pint at the historic Rob Roy Bar in Cobh, Ireland where Irish Patriot James Connelly was given shelter after a speech protesting government not providing meals for poor children in schools and the opposition started a riot. Nose is grassy and citrus hops, caramel, and an earthy note. Yellow orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is mildly bitter with caramel notes.
