Bottle at home, cellared this one for 2 years. Pours reddish copperish brown with a quickly dissipating head. Nose is whiskey, oak, tannins, nuts, ligh mt esters. Taste is nutty, bready malts, some esters, oak, fruity touches, tannic notes, bourbon. Closes with an estery, boozy finish, got a smooth, medium to big body and surprisingly low carbonation.

Аромат отличный. Как и ожидалось много сухофруктов. Прям курага сухая, но и слива есть с виноградом. Медовые нотки при согревании, чутка карамели и коричневого сахара. Много пряностей, а затем просто немного спелых фруктов. В общем весь набор Квадрика. Цвет темно карамельный, пенка очень маленькая. Вкус по началу идет хорошо. Отличная карбонизация. Много пряностей снова, сухофрукты, много сливы. Возможно от нее имеется кислый оттенок, даже не знаю как его воспринимать, он намного сильнее чем должен быть. Может от того что пиву уже много лет. А так немного карамели и меда в послевкусие, тут уже появляется бочка от бурбона, но на тоненького. В целом очень понравилось, все очень сбалансированно. Единственное смутило яркая кислинка при глотке.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - deep amber with a beige head. Nose - wood and booze. Raisins and dried orange peel. Taste - dried orange, raisins and prunes. Palate - medium bodied, sweet middle and finish. Good linger. Overall - lovely stuff.

Bottle at Craig's annual Christmas tasting. 07/07/2024. Pours clear mahogany with a thin white head. Aromas of sherry, vanilla, golden syrup. Taste is more of the and. Nicely boozy finish.

22/7/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP3. From Jean-Baptiste (Christmas 2021), cheers! Pours clear dark red amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is boozy, toffee, bready, dried fruits, wood, red wine, light bourbon, touch of spice and syrup. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium to full body, smooth, oily, average carbonation. Lovely sipper.

Bottled. Copper colour, not much head and what there was vanished quite fast. Aromai s wood, some red wine, mild vanilla, spiciness, toffee, vanilla and mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is plum, dates, raisins, some syrup, mild sweet malts, chocolate, toast and some red wine as well as mild bourbon and vanilla to it. Smooth, and actually surprisingly easy going. Almost more a quaffable one than a sipper one... at this ABV that could become disastrous.
