Spotty tan head on a slowly carbonating dark copper coloured body. Liquorice, raisin, bourbon & berries aroma. Medium to full bodied, super smooth & oily with a light tingle down throat & a cloying back. Liquorice, bourbon, raisins, red wine & red berry tastes with a tangy finish. Excellent.

33cl bottle, from beerbay.net. Vintage 2012 n. 12. Pours somehow opaque brown, with limited white foam, fine. Aroma is malty, liquor, wood. Body Is somehow thick, smooth, elegant, with some peppery feeling and tickling carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet, with nice oxidation and quite a complexity. Final is long, still intense and malty.

Clear, amber-red colored, medium off white-beige head. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, dried fruit, woody, some alcohol, bit bourbon, brown sugar. Taste is very sweet malt, brown sugar, dried fruit, caramel, bourbon and oaky, light alcohol in the finish, medium bitterness, some warmth. Full bodied, soft carbonation, oily.

It pours a light brown with reddish hues and a long lasting head of foam.
The smell is sweet with what I reckon is candi sugar. Oak and Bourbon are there in spades. Fantastic nose.
Sweet brown sugar/candi sugar taste, Bourbon and oak compliment it so nicely. No bitterness that I can detect and the ample abv is well hidden.
Close to full bodied with medium carbonation. There's definitely some oxidation going on but to my palate, it does no harm.

33cl bottle, thanks JefVerstraete! Euro Swap. Vintage 2012, bottle on 12/07/2016. Pours brown, unclear with a thin white head. Sweet dried fruits, like figs and plums. Malty sweet with warming alcohol. Full bodied, complex. Oak, mild vinous notes, port notes. Long long finish. Excellent.
