First crafted in 2016, Moinette Ambrée enables us to present a trilogy centred on one of our star products, La Moinette.
Its colour, flavour and aromas result from brewing a blend of five different malts.
When tasting this beer, the aromas of special malts and fine hops dominate: the combination of fruit and bitterness give Moinette Ambrée its beautiful balance.
Genuine refermentation in the bottle, which may be extended by several months in your cellar, creates this harmonious and refreshing beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper with light bubbly head and quite a bit of suspended sediment. Aromas of mineral water, earthy Belgian yeast, bready malts and a bit of dark fruit. Flavors of Belgian yeast leaning towards bananas, copper, raisins, and toasted malts.

On tap at the Brugge Beer Festival 2024, Brugge, Belgium. An orange/amber/brown coloured pour with a decent off white head on top. Malty, fruity, yeasty, caramel taste and aroma. This was an excellent Belgian, must get some more.

750ml bottle picked up from Drankgigant.nl , Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed at Kanu & Camping aqua hema, nr Blaibach, Bayerisch Wald Friday 19th July 2024 listening to Fat Dog, cooking a pre made Cannelloni. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a mid sized white head. Nice depth of flavour, malty and a little bit spicy, warming but the abv is never intrusive. Lovely beer.

Flaska. Väldigt mycket karamell och jäst. Lite torkad frukt. Lite lime. Tyvärr lite för mycket kolsyra.

330ml bottle sold to me by djoeye. Steady off-white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, misty orange coloured body. Promising smell of dried fruits added by a yeasty touch. Fine balanced taste of yeasty fruitiness, stewed fruits, basement, and a pale malty backbone. Bittersweet, mid-dry fruity finish. Fine depth to it. Nice, with sipper qualities. (Tromsø, 11.05.2024).

Grumligt orange med ett ganska litet men fluffigt skum. Doft av torkad frukt, farin och lite svett. Smakar belgisk jäst och kakaopulver. Torr och lite alkohol.

Pours amber to light red, clear with the slightest bit of haziness. One and a half fingers of rather compact white head, showing decent retention and some lacing. Quite a lot going on in the aroma, with good intensity but maybe lacking precision/definition: a malty base of pastry and caramel with some honey hints to it, nicely complex fruitiness (red/dried fruits, most notably candied orange, peach, almond), plus some rustic saison-like hints on the back of things (slight spiciness, slight earthiness). There's also a slight alcohol touch to give it a bit of warming feel. Taste follows the aroma closely, in both notes and feeling (good intensity, not super defined). Quite high in sweetness with low bitterness and a bit of alcohol attenuation, still overall in good balance with a pleasantly warming feel. Medium bodied (definitely lower than expected for the abv) with average, quite soft carbonation, resulting in a semi-soft mouthfeel. Very nice.
