Moinette Ambrée is a top-fermented amber beer, refermented in the bottle.
First crafted in 2016, Moinette Ambrée enables us to present a trilogy centred on one of our star products, La Moinette.
Its colour, flavour and aromas result from brewing a blend of five different malts.
When tasting this beer, the aromas of special malts and fine hops dominate: the combination of fruit and bitterness give Moinette Ambrée its beautiful balance.
Genuine refermentation in the bottle, which may be extended by several months in your cellar, creates this harmonious and refreshing beer.

Hard to fault it for the style. Lovely Belgian yeast expression,
toasted wheat flakes, nips of candied sugar, a hint of toffee, booze. Massaging carb. Punchy in its way but seriously and dangerously drinkable. A little grassy bitterness in the finish.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Amber to brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown sugar, hints of raisins and dust. The flavour has the same elements, also spicy hops, with a moderate bitterness in the finish. Not bad.

Slightly hazy, dark amber, full head. Aroma of nuts and figs. Nutty and malty taste with some sweetness, yet also dry. Balanced bitterness.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is malt, caramel, notes of stewed fruit, spicy notes, cookies, dried fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Robust and balanced, quite the throwback aromatic profile for Dupont. Hard to get excited about this beer, but it was definitely enjoyable.
