Bottled at Cosmic Comic Café, Turku. Black, small head. Coffee aroma. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and licorice dominates. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle at Pub Winston. Dark brown-ruby color, small off-white head. Aroma has toasted maltyness and chocolate. Medium-bodied. Soft palate. Milk chocolate and coffee. Sweetish. Nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 12/15, at Kahdet Kasvot, 20150307) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, bell pepper and coffee. Palate was almost full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, sweetness, spices, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A nice coffee infused stout.

Tap at Brewdog Helsinki, Helsinki. Colour is black with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, dark chocolate, hints of coffee, hints of vanilla and roasted malts. Nice soft stout. Chocolate is very delicious in this. Good drinkability. Best beer from Hiisi so far.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, coffee, dark chocolate and ash. Taste is smooth, roasty and heavy with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and hints of licorice. Finish is smooth, yet quite heavy and roasty with some hints of hops, coffee, chocolate and cocoa. Quite balanced and tasty stout.

Draught @ BrewDog Helsinki. Aroma is quite chocolatey with truffles and mocha. Flavour has mocha, truffles, some ashy tones and semi-dark chocolate. Feels a bit thin for this ABV and does not have the certain feeling export stouts usually have. Delicious nevertheless, the best from Hiisi so far.
