Our interpretation of the American Pale Ale (APA) is conceived as a modern APA
anno 2016. It appears lighter and more fruity than a traditional APA.
Enjoy alone or with a traditional barbecue.

500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is strong and fruity with citric, peach and slightly grassy. Flavor is a bit light malty with lots of fruit like aroma and grassy bitterness. Fine balanced body with a solid, long lasting bitter aftertaste. Pretty straight forward, but well craftet APA. Would sure be nice for the summer.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20160523) The beer poured golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, white bread and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, spruce sprouts, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had spruce sprouts, grass and bitterness. A nice hoppy pale ale.

A light yellow, hint of orange, a head is medium and white. Aroma is nicely tropical, papaiyas and grapefruits, low fructose. Taste has mangos, low grapefruits. Quite light bodied, fresh. Fruitful and refreshning.

On tap at Patrick’s. An almost clear one, golden in colour and with a small, dense, white head leaving curtains. Piney, citrusy and lightly flowery aroma, grapefruit standing out. Not much going on on the malty side. It’s medium bodied, semi dry and super smoothly carbonated, perhaps a bit low on bitterness. At least I would like it a bit more bitter. Pine cones, grapefruit notes, generic fruityness and some flowery notes in the flavor. Lasting grapefruit finish with pine cones and bitterness. A very easy drinkable and quite tasteful beer. Gentle, borderline subtle, a beer made for the summer. Quenching. 160415

Sample from bottle @ Sur & Bitter, Sandnes. Pours hazy light golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is hoppy peach and light tropical notes, as well as light malts with bread and toffee. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops with citrusy notes of grapefruit, some floral notes, as well as some balancing malts. Bitter finish, with some mineraly notes.

03.05.2016, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big slightly bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, leafs, wet hops, grass, hay, light malts, dried fruits, hop pellets, orange, pine needles. Taste is slightly dry grassy, leafs, hay, hops, light malts, minerals, paper, bark, pine needles, grass, grain. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice enough, and way better than the first time. It was just too fresh I guess.
