Brown with a frothy, light beige head. Aroma full of roasted nuts and caramel. Taste is bitter with a slightly toasted note, then takes a mildly tart twist at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Quite refreshing for a brown. Good.

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.

It pours a clear reddish brown with a good long lasting head of foam.

The nose is rather weak to me. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, hints of smoke and nuts.

The taste makes up for the smell. All I mentioned are intensified. Lovely roasted malt, chocolate, both dark and milk, nice smokiness, I want to say some vanilla. Very tasty.

Good mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

Roast and good musk, almost like a hint of coconut. Nice brown. Pours clear mahogany with good head and lacing. Light touch of caramel. Great balance here, very drinkable. Tap at First Draft.

A bit too bitter, but at least pleasantly so, underlying beer is great and to style. Backhouse Boulder
