Keg at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm. Very dark brown, creamy head. Aroma of black currant, licorice and butter. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with some ash, lots of licorice. Coffee and black currant lead to a long bitter finish with mild resiny under tones.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2015) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, pine needles, grapefruit and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with black rye bread, coffee, pine needles, a touch of grapefruit and a balanced resiny, piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty black IPA, with a balanced hop character. Nice one.

Draught@SBWF2015. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some liquorice and mild fruity notes. Flavour is quite similar. In a way quite basic, but on the other hand nicely balanced.
