Backlog august 2016. Clear pale golden body under a nice, dense white head. Light aroma of mild malt and yeast. Rather light and delicate in taste, smooth malt, slightly fruity and spicy. Balanced in taste and body, pleasant aftertaste. Refreshing and tasty in a subdue way.

Bottled (thanks Patte B!). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is resin, some citrus, mild yeasty notes as well as some mild funk. Flavour is fruity, some mild apices, yeast and mild herbal notes. Refreshing, but quite simplistic.

0,33 flaske fra Systembolaget Strømstad, hos Einar og Synne feb-18: lett uklar gylden med tett skum som varer. Fin aroma og smak med krydder, pepper, citrusfrukter og gjær. Tørr, mildt krydret bitterhet med peppertoner i avslutningen, lettdrikkelig.

Bottle 33 cl. Extreme carbonation, slow gusher even out of the bottle. Pours golden with a slight haze and a huge, white head with a fairly good retention. Nose is mainly yeasty. Medium body, has some nasty but subtle phenols, very fruity esters and an extremely bitter almost astringent finish. Saison is a difficult style to get really great - a statement well proven here. 190218

A bit hazy orange colour, medium-sized white head. Some pepper, fruits and cellar notes in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour is similar some fruityness, pepper and then cellary notes. A bit odd although very saisonic.

KØLF 120816. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is apple, yeast, malt. Flavor is apple, yeast, malt, spices, herbs. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear golden, mid sized coarse head - not a looker. Generous aroma of tropcal fruit, pine, citrus ans marzipan. Quite sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coriander and marzipan. Floral and citrusy with slight notes of kiwi fruit. Slightly resinous mid bitter finish. An interesting mix of character from lager, belgo ale and NZPA.

A quite mild and easy drinkable saison.
Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Mild citric, malty, some yeast and some herbal spices in the flavor.
