750 ml bottle, 10 ans du Moeder original version, bb 10/2020, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Dark copper body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, beige head. Aroma of red wine barrel, leather, overripe fruits, dried fruits, wood, some cocoa, subtle smoke. Tastes quite similar, with more sweet dried fruits, balsamico. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation. Finishes vinous, sweet, leathery, slightly smokey, a bit warm, with some cocoa. Tasty. Really interesting and intense, with dark fruits, vinous notes and some smokey spiciness. A bit heavy to drink, while the ABV is still well hidden. Unique stuff. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

0,75l bottle shared at home, bought at Dranken Geers (I think). BB 10/2020. brown color, small off-white head. smells of marzipan, nutty, light vinegar, grapes, ripe fruits, nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of marzipan, nutty, vinegar, ripe fruits, grape notes. finishes medium sour and lightly sweet with notes of marzipan, nuts and grape notes. nice one, a bit on the sweet side / heavy, not that smooth to drink, but good complexity.

Tap at Moeder Original (as Degustator Jeandy 10th Anniversary Edition Moeder Lambic Original). Pours dark amber with beige head. Aroma is sour, fruits, roast. Flavor is sour, oak, vinegar, roast, dark fruits, malt, some sugar-raisins. Overall: great one.

Tap in St. Gilles. Deep, dark red-brown with a high, fine, thick-ass head. Nose is cherry, vanilla, vinegar, chocolate, treacle, wood, berries. Deep and lovely. Sweet, woody, acetic, lactic. Cherries brown sugar. Crazy stuff. Soft, silky body, soft carbonation. Great.

Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, barnyard, funky, barrel wood, cherry, dark fruit, sour fruit, vinegar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light moderate acidic and bitter with a long duration, tart, wood, cherry, funky, dark fruit, vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light light light alcoholic - phenol. [20180316] 8-4-8-3-16
