25cl at Moeder Lambic Fontinas, pours a murky amber with sticky, off white head. Nose has lots of vinegar acid, balsamic but also pomegranate vinegar, blood orange, apple cider and cider vinegar, dark fruits, cereals. Flavor is tart with acid, apple cider vinegar, toast and malt, some earthy notes, blood orange, pomegranate. Finishes full bodied, tart, bordering on hot.

Bottle. Dark brown color with ruby highlights and a creamy beige head. Aroma is balsamico, wood, plums, a touch of the smoked pepper I imagine. Taste is mild plums, cherries, balsamico, a touch of umami, chocolate, wood, tobacco, pretty complex. Typical BFM chaos, a so-called "Weizenbock". Well it's a great version of ASBC at (supposedly) less alcohol, but it has great interesting aspects and it's less harsh than ASBC. In fact, it's super mellow. Great stuff - is this Jerôme's masterpiece?

Tap @ Moeder Lambic. Dark brown colour, thin layer of beige foam. Very fruity, woody, some balsamic vinegar; Drank this next to the Saint Bon Chien and taste like a softer version of it.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark dark ruby red colour lasting beige head. Some sour red fruit and balsamic vinegar on the aroma. Jammy red fruit and good sour level in mouth making that perfect Flemish red balance. It's really good. Damn what a good beer. Love the sweet sour balance
