At Brassin Public. Pours dark brown with a smooth foam. Aroma is BFM funk, rust, light acetone, wood, caramel. Body is medium, sour and vinegary, balsamico, bitter almond, yet not as extreme as an ASBC. Dry sour palate. Balanced and flavourful. Very nice!

Draught Sampled as 10th Anniversary Moeder Lambic Special Very good, stable yellow head over fully opaque brown-red to black beer. Vinous, red fruit, lactic acid jumping out of the glass upon serving; soured red, old wine. Slightly sweetish, mainly sour vinous beer, old wood, immensely complex. Unripe red grapes. Acidthinning, bit burning MF. Body is not thin, however, slick even oily. Another excellent BFM beer - as expected.

Draft glass @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Extremely dark brown, touch black, deep mocha bubbles, creamy head. Nose is lovely big sour puckering thick vinegar cherry, plum, balasmic vinegar, vinegar malt. Body is acidic, vinegar, touch acetone, massively vinegar heavy but with big plum, red wine, cherry, finish is vinegar chocolate,... Thick balsamic vinegar body, near black licorice. Didn’t really get the smoked pepper. I adore this massive BFM sours. Very sour but with massive flavour.

Draft @ ML Fontainas.

BFM's birthday brew for Moeder Lambic Original's 10th anniversary. Quite sour for a Weizenbock, but that's not really a surprise for BFM.
