This amber beer was made from different caramel malts and some rye. Slightly hoppy, the accent is set on the oregano and the dried lemon peel. The herbal smell of this leaf reminds us the pizzas in Italy. The lemon peel brings the fruity notes and the round feeling to this particular beer while a slight bitterness is present.

Pours unclear dark amber, decent white head. Smell is weak, mild ambermalty. Taste is bit bitter, spicy / herbal, oregano is very hidden, or perhaps my taste-barrier is to high for this spice I use in such big amounts when coocking. No lemon peel was recognized here. Aftertaste is very metallic, but it doesn't neccessary bother me ( accept for the quality side of this brew ). OK

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample, self-poor. Amber orange, creamy tanned head. Nose is odd in the way that the oregano is massive, bready malt in the back, sugar. Taste is far too sweet, sweet bread, soap, there is clear oregano but not as extreme as in the smell, doesn’t really work with the sweet base but agreeable overall. Body is oddly sweet malty syrup, low wort, soap.
