Can. Best tasting can beer I've ever had. Brown color and not much head. Aroma was roasted grains and fruit cake. Taste was the same. Great beer.

dark mahogany color, small tn head, good lacing. Aroma is very nutty, notes of hazelnuts, plums, freash baked raisin bread. Wow, i could smell this all day, such a beautiful aroma. Flavour is malty, with again, a good amount of nutty flavours. Lots of hazelnut, and some almond. NIce bready notes in the finish with some ripe fruit. Wow, this is an incredible beeer! I love this!

Bottiglia.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is brown and dark malts with caramel, toffee, some liquorice, touch of nuts, some dried/dark fruity notes, candy, mild spicy. Flavour is medium to fairly sweet and mild bitter. Body is above medium. Rich malty aroma, sweet with some fruity notes, nutty caramel toffee malt. Good brew.

12oz can at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks. Canned 10/20/2016. brown color, small off-white head. smells marzipan, sherry, light oxidation notes, honey, bit flowery, some figs. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes honey, sweet, light pines, light marzipan, figs, candied fruits. finishes medium sweet with notes of figs, honey and marzipan. drinkable but rather on the sweet side, this is obviously not the freshest anymore, its drinkable, but heavy and sweet.

Molasses, toffee malt, alcohol, and fresh hay aroma. Dark brown with large light brown head. Moderately sweet molasses, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay and alcohol flavor. Good body. Pretty good - wish more winter ales were like this.
