Special thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Smells sweet and fruity with cookie malts, cherries and hazlenut. Beautiful dark red-brown color with some small particles floating around. There is a small creamy head with excellent lacing. Taste is of chocolate malts and is somewhat bitter at the end. Taste reminds me of a Porter a bit. Medium to full body with a dry mouthfeel and a bit too fizzy carbonation. Overall very good!

Pours with a tan head and a mahogany body (yeah I know that is what they officially say, but it is true). Malty and doughy aroma. The taste is pretty strong with a thick body. Heavy on the malts, almost a salty sort of finish. Little bit of hops do that I think. Heavy alcohol content completely unnoticeable. Little nutty with roasted flavors on the side.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Wonderfull dark amber-red colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Light chocolate notes. Fantastic powerfull heavy bitter flavor. Nice complex notes of hopps and chocolate. Creamy palate. Really great beer.

Aroma hints are somewhat od and fruity, like old fashioned candy. Dark color, like cola or dark cream soda. Strong big ale flavors. Alky and offensive. Be prepared to jubilate after a few of these. In your face annoyng manners. Cannot get thru the flavors to check out the mild carbonation. Too strong for my lager lovin girlie taste buds. Mildl~medium lingering bitter malt intimidating finish. Sorry, I’m not good enough for this brew, save it for the imlerialistics.

Aroma of toffee and nut. Beautiful garnet color with an off-white head that laced while collapsing. Thin to medium body with mild carbonation. The flavor is dark caramel with bread and citrus. The flavor is fairly dry considering the maltiness, with mild bitter and hints of coffee. Very tasty.

This beer has an odd yet familiar aroma. The chestnut, molasses, and granola notes combine to create a bouquet that is very much like the cereal Grapenuts. Brown color, thin tan head. Roasted chestnut and toffee flavor with a weak raisin finish.

Dark brown-amber colour. Toffee & dark fruits on the nose with hints of alcohol. Toasty, breadcrusty earthy strong ale with an overriding hop character.

bottle - Pours dark amber with a moderate head that fades to a thin, sustained head. The aroma is of caramel malt and dark fruit and the flavor is along the same line with some mild hops for balance and maybe a hint of chocolate. It’s warming and very drinkable.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is ruby amber. Aroma is rich and complex. Taste is sweet with spices and fruit. Alcohol in finish.
