Bottled, from Rena. Hazy golden, lively head. Chalky fruity nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with some chalk, notes of hay and and mushrooms. Resiny somewhat metallic finish.

KRS 140516. Deep golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, fruit, apple. Flavour is pine, grapefruit, fruit, apple, herbs, grass, hay. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske 500ml - Batch G#007 - fra Joker Levang. Drukket på Knatten, Stølestrand 21 Jun 16. Mørk gylden. Lavt luftig skum. Uklar. Lett maltaroma. Smaken skarprøstet malt. Litt frukt etter hvert. Litt bunnfall. OK øl.

Flaske fra Gulating Vestkanten, delt med Einar: lett uklar gylden (hvorfor i all verden heter den Black??) med tett, hvitt skum som varer helt ned. Appelsin og urter i aroma og smak. Fint karbonert - det gir behagelig friskhet, og den tørre ettersmaken med fin, floral bitterhet (igjen med nyanser av appelsin) gjør det fristende å gripe etter glasset igjen. Et ørlite anstrøk av aske helt mot slutten.

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Kornete lukt, lett humle, smørmaltdrops og noe honning. Lett søtlig honningsmak i starten, middels bitterhet kommer utover.

Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. Not much resemblance to the name of the beer, that’s for sure. Pale malts, yellow apples, grass, some hay and a faint spiced touch in the aroma. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, with pale malts, grass, some pine cones and some hay and pale malts. It’s medium bodied and dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish with grass, pine cones, some hay and a good dash of bitterness. Very easy drinkable this one, quenching and crisp, but I’m very curious about the name of the beer. 160514
