Gravity dispense from the brewpub. . A hazed but brown coloured pour with a a halo of beige head. Aroma is decent chocolate chip, strawberry shortcake. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown malts, toffee, fudge cake, shortcake, jammy fruits. Semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Keg at Seven Barrel, Gurgaon Dark brown, small head. Mild aroma of coffee and caramel. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and coffee. Very low bitterness.

(Draught at 7 Barrel, Gurgaon, 16 Jan 2017) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, raisins, toast, chocolate and a touch of clove. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, raisins, burnt sugar, coffee and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced schwarzbier. Quite enjoyable.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a murky brown with a ring of white head. Nose is nutty with malt and bread. Flavor is chewy malt and bread. Slick finish.
