draught as T-Anker at T-Anker/Kotva, Prague. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. Lovely saaz hop aroma. Medium-bodied, malty base with a pleasant sweetness. Lots of good, good, aromatic saaz hops, delivering a bitter-sweet overall character. Superb.

Unfiltered version on-tap in Pivovarsky Klub on 3rd Oct 2014. Mini haze to the light amber body, on top a white crown, 0.3 litre pour. Aroma of pale malts, some fresh bread and mild, light hoppiness. Taste was malty but not sweet, a little bitterness arrives late and stays in the aftertaste. Had it again on 7th Oct 2014 in the brewery tasting room, fresh, better and sharper.

Bei meinem diesjährigen Prag-Besuch war ich etwas enttäuscht, dass die Craftbierszene vor Ort nurmehr eher mittelmäßge Biere ausspuckt. Dieses Bier war dann jenes, das alles herausriss. Es ist ein wunderbar malzig-süffiges Bier, wie ich es mir von einem tschechischen Hellen erwarte. Schöner voller Körper, mäßige Brotig- und Buttrigkeit und mit etwas Hopfen gewürzt. Ein ausgezeichnetes Klosterbier aus dem laizistischten Land Europas.

1-liters plastflaske, delt med Ovesen tre timer etter ankomst fra Tsjekkia: slik kan altså en pilsner smake! Frisk, ufiltrert og fersk, med mye behagelig appelsinpreget bitterhet og rik munnfylde. Litt honningsødme i avslutningen. Eminent drikkbar uten at jordrotasjonen slår inn.

Draft. An unclear amber beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt,c leading to a bitter finish.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 20 July 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grass, a touch of toast, citrus and apricots. Malty taste with bread, orange, apricots and a certain grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.
