Into the Sunset showcases the skills of our brewers, combining malt, hops and real blood oranges into a true San Diego-style IPA. Originally commissioned for the San Diego County Fair, we loved it so much that we had to put this sunset into a bottle. This refreshing IPA is a riff on our Solis series, originally as award-winning Batch #42.

Optisch ziemlich platt, nicht eine Perle, kein Schaum. Eigenartig. In der Nase wie Orangenlimo. Im Trunk wie ein Radler, sehr intensiv Orange, bitter, naja.

From a can, slightly hazy bright orange color with a thin off white head. Lots of orange in the aroma, somewhat less in the flavors. Quite bitter, much of it from the citrus pithiness that I expected. LIght bodied and plenty bitter, actually.

Sample at the North Park taproom. Hazy bronze color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Oranges, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of orange peel, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrus and hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
