Canned. Black colour with a huge beigeish brown head. Aroma is burnt malts, mild cocoa, coffee, chocolate, some milky tones, liquorice and mild alcohol. Flavour is quite heavy on the roasted malts along with some chocolate, mild ashes as well as some liquorice, alcohol and quite strong bitterness to it.

(Can, 0.44 l - BB 10.09.2020, from Alko, 20191130) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, alcohols and woollen socks. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash, woollen socks and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A confusing and unbalanced burnt brew.

Can 440ml (from UJH)
Opaque colour, medium-sized brownish head. Light caramel and licorice in the nose, even some wood. Medium-bodied. Toasted maltyness, bitterness, coffee in the flavour. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Decent, simplish imperial stout.

Taster on tap Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pitch black with a small, beige head. Roasty and chocolaty with with hints of coffee, dark fruits and caramel. Sweet, roasty and quite flavourful with a balanced bitterness. Enjoyable.

Weak examplenof the style, a bit too bitter and off slightly and the big beer doesn’t even cover it up. Uba tallinn
