This one that I had is billed on their menu as the regular, with no year. Buffalo trace one. Really tastes like Bourbon County. It's a huge beer. Barrel, booze, some roast. Some boozy tang in the finish. Black oily pour with decent head. Bittersweet and boozy end. Fig. Tap at 3 Sons.

375ml (thx, Randall C.!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: very dark brown with a no head. Aroma: loads of bourbon barrel, a little bit of soy sauce, quite sweet, some chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, very thick, very nice bourbon, a bit of booze here. Overall: a great representative of the style, The BBA Imperial Stout. It's too expensive for what it is, though, being almost 33 USD per 375ml bottle. It would make more sense to get 2x500ml BCBS from a nice batch for this price.

Dark brown. No head. Inky. Rich aroma, lots of raisin, toasted barrel, rich chocolate. Lots of deep fruitiness, raisin, fruit, coffee cake, mellow sugars. Gorgeous sugars. Rich, very elegant.

Pours black, no head. Smell is full, bourbon, very mild cocoa and vanilla undertone. Taste is full, vanilla, sweet, intense, bourbon. Bit too simplistic barrel forward for my taste. Very good beer nevertheless, just overpowered by other Jewels this brewery has.
