Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds burnt wood, light cocoa. Medium to big sweet flavour with notes of ash, more chocolate, alcohol. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, ample bittersweet baking cocoa, ashy roast. Nice overall.

Aroma is quite sweet even a bit fudgy with vanilla, hmmm not used to this from GB, sharp Teeling whiskey, toasted, dry, charcoal, too much sharp whisky, caramel, hmmm expected more tbh... doesnโ€™t taste like a 10% more a 30% ๐Ÿง๐Ÿคจ

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Cloin! Pours deep brown with a frothy tan head. So so, holds notes of earth, lightly tangy berries, ashy roast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Further sturdy ashy character in the finish. OK overall.
