330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Smoky and dark malty, minimally peaty aroma, hints of wood ashes, tar. Taste is roasty, smoky, dark malty, minimally ashy and peaty, hints of tar, wood ashes. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly greasy palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Well crafted, quite smoky - good!

33cl bottle from a trade with MonsterMagnet, thanks! A very dark brown beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark smoked malt, bacon, caramel, chocolate. Taste of sweet dark roasted and smoaked malt, bacon, caramel, chocolate.

Very dark brown, with a bunch of chunky floaters, and cream brown head. Smell is roasty, slightly smoky. Nice thickness, some pretty sharp carbonation. Taste is roasty, spicy rye and indeed buckwheat. Smoke is the bitter, ashy kind. Medium bitter ending.

Bottle at home. Black with small tan head. Soft smoke, earthy, dry cocoa, dried plums, rye, dried red fruits, earthy spicy notes. Over medium sweet and lighter bitter, very light sour. Solid body with creamy and slightly oily feel. Quite OK.

33 cl. bottle @ Dennis & Patries. Dark brown to black with a beige head. Chocolate aroma with some smoke . Sweet taste with a smooth sweet finish. Bit too sweet for me but decent enough.

Zwart bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter en licht zoet met iets van bittere chocolade, ietwat rook, koffie en een vleugje bramen. Erg fijn bier.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', bottled in January 2020. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky and slightly roasty aroma of bacon, coffee, licorice and chocolate. Gently sweet, malty, quite smoky and slightly roasty taste of coffee, chocolate, licorice and bacon, followed by a medium long, gently roasty, quite smoky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and almost oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant beer, nicely smoky and smooth.
