Mead aged and fermented in Utopias barrels from 3 months to 10 years. Each barrel is unique.
Truly a unique mead that offers a flavor not just unlike any other mead but unlike any other beverage in the world. Our single barrel releases are limited and identified the batch number. We aged and fermented this mead in hand-selected, Samuel Adams Utopias® casks from the award-winning Boston Beer Company.
This flavorful, slightly fruity mead has a semi-sweet, complex flavor that is reminiscent of a deep, rich vintage port, fine cognac or aged sherry. Rich oak notes last long into the finish.

Thanks Brian for sharing. Hazy yellow and no head. Smells very raw just like straight up honey, clove, some tobacco and oregano, just a lot of spice along with orange and honey. Very strong and noticeable alcohol burn specifically toward the finish. It’s just like drinking a thin honey. orange peel, some slight kiwi and brandy. Sweet but it’s not cloying. really nice.

375 ml bottle thanks to Willrunforbeer. Batch number 5. Thanks for the chance at this high dollar share! Clear brown in color. Aroma is oak, toffee, dried flowers and honey. The flavor of course is sweet with honey but the toffee with a light trace of cognac and oak helps cut the sweetness. Also I’m not sure where the floral note comes from but it does have that as well. Pretty enjoyable.
