Mostra 5th was brewed in late 2018 to commemorate the anniversary of Mostra Coffee from San Diego. We took the base beer and aged it in Four Roses 7 year old "Single Barrel" barrels for 15 months and then gave it the M5 treatment of Vermont maple syrup, Ugandan vanilla beans and Mostra espresso. This beer is rich, heavy, and very coffee forward.

Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is full, roasty, sweetish coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is full, intense, roasty, coffee. Barrel is mild. Very chocolate-like coffee.
