Can at THT September thanks to the brewer. Very dark brown with big pinkish head. Sweet cherries, roasted malts, earthy, chocolate, raspberries, marzipan. Quite sweet, medium bitter, light sour. Medium bodied. Nice.

ABV: 8.0%. Clear medium to dark black brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, chocolate, dark malt, cocoa, cherry - sweet cherry - sour cherry, lactose, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, cherry - sweet cherry - sour cherries, dark malt, chocolate, cocoa, cherry stone bitter, light licorice sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200430]

330ml can. Very dark brown, tan head. Aroma of cherry liqueur (somewhat like vișinată) and chocolate. Taste of sweet and sour cherries, rich chocolate, cherry pits, creamy lactose, smooth slightly warming liqueur-like booze. Medium body, thinner than expected. Taste is sublime, another gorgeous stout from HH, just wish it was thicker.

Dark brown pour, flat, with no head. Notes of cherries, dark chocolate, roasted malt, subtle coffee. Pretty well-balanced flavors, but the lack of carbonation makes it just a bit weird.

Opaque deep brown with ruby highlights, small mocha head. The aroma is cherry flavoured sweet chocolate, fermenting cherries, old stale cherries, rotting cherries too. The taste has that light chocolaty balancing note, but mostly it's sweet and tart dried cherries with some nice cherry pit bitterness. Light fruity astringency, touch of alcohol and hop spice. It is more of a (homemade) cherry liquor than a stout, but the fruit is in its least offending form here. Decent.
