21/9/2024. Bottle from Beerdome online store. Pours surprisingly thin close to black with a small short lasting beige head. Aroma is extremely rummy, woody, roasted, musty, chocolate, raisins, rum truffle. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, very oily, average to soft carbonation. Rum keeps on giving more and more, and though I love rum, and enjoy it in a beer, this was just a bit too much to truly enjoy.

Medium body, oily. Boozy and sweet, malty, some rum, brown sugar, somewhat bitter. Strong but remains fairly smooth. Licorice in the finish. Very nice.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Miro B and Max. Black with beige head. Malty, caramel, chocolate, bourbon, very warming, boozy even, sweet, bitterish finish. Full bodied.

Bottle shared by Joen. Dark brown to black color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, heavy, alcoholic, warming, light brown sugar notes. Ok but too heavy for me tbh.

15th December 2019
Clear but very dark reddish amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Rum is obvious, dark fruity rum with dark brown sugar and a touch of spice. Modest toffee. Good rum soaked fruits. Smooth finish brings more tingling spice. Nicely rummy.

Pours black, and almost flat. Smells like a barleywine mostly, trace of rum. Mouthfeel is medium thick, but smooth, some carbonation. Taste is heavy, dense, lots of malt with a nice hoppy bitter. Rum is subtle yet present. Super smooth and soft. Intense.

Tap. Pours dark brown. Aroma and flavor are sweet, roast,malt, rum, chocolate, caramel, booze. Overall: very good.
