Bottle - Sweet and fruity with some raisin. Clear copper with no head. Light raisin, dark plum and a long finish.

Bottle @ tasting shared with Inoven and TomHendriksen. Dark amber color, average to medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, quite bitter, sweet-bitter raisins, dark malts, alcohol. Full body, medium to full carbonation. Well done!

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met Benzai en Tomhendriksen. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is zoet en fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter en kruidig.

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat houtige geur. De smaak is houtig, bourbon en hopachtig. Het heeft een kruidige nasmaak.

Barwa ciemny bursztyn. piana gęsta, drobnopechezykowa, powoli opada, ladnie oblepia szkło. Aromat typowo piwny, do tego lekki karmel. W smaku tresciwe, bombonierka, suszone owoce, alkohol dobrze ukryty, powoli rozgrzewa przelyk.

Barwa ciemnomiedziana, klarowne, piana w kolorze jasnobeżowym, dość obfita, całkiem trwała. W aromacie melanoidyny, chleb, ciemne owoce, nutka alkoholowa, skórka przypieczona, karmel. W smaku słodowe, wyraźna słodycz, przypieczona skórka od chleba, ciemne owoce, typowe nuty koźlakowe, tyle, że bardzo intensywne. Goryczka niska do średniej, nie kontruje tej słodyczy, alkohol dobrze ukryty, piwo jest gęste, wyklejające, nisko nasycone. W zasadzie wzorowy Eisbock, choć to nie do końca mój styl.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a rough, off-white head. Surprisingly little aroma, hardly anything there, a whiff of nuts perhaps. Rich, thick, fat body but surprisingly dry with the caramel tuned down. Somewhat minerally with a solid, late bitterness. Not bad, but personally I would've loved some more malty sweetness. Booze surprisingly well hidden. 201117

Bottle @ Novotel, Gdansk. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head, lacings. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, burnt brown sugar, dark bread. Flavor is very sweet, rich malty, caramel, brown sugar, wood, dark bread, alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. Smooth and fairly drinkable for the high ABV. 091117

Bottle, 11.2%. Very caramelly aroma, smells sweetish, extremely vinous. Clear deep dark red colour, almost chestnut. Small off-white head. The flavour starts off a little citric, and then turns bready and syrupy. Has a very long molasses and malt aftertaste. A shame that it is a little citric, other than that, it is nearly perfect.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark ruby / copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of yeast, caramel malt and fruit and booze. Sweetish, bready, malty and caramellish flavour woth bitter notes of hops and alcohol and some sourish, grainy touches, especially in the aftertaste. Good, but it would be better without the sourish notes.
